BCBG LOVE!

GO CARDS! Our UofL Cards are now on to the Elite Eight and we could not be more excited!

This cute henley style tee was picked up at our local Target a few years back. They always have the cutest team gear! And my engraved necklace is by none other than Stella & Dot!

The cute flannel is also from Target, a few years old though. Luckily, Target always brings back button down flannels every year, and usually spice it up with fun colors, too!

Last weekend we were in St. Louis for a family wedding and I rocked one of my favorite dresses. This beauty was a discounted steal and actually has a funny story behind it. We were outlet mall shopping almost two years ago at one of our favorite places in Branson, MO and stumbled upon this BCBG beauty at a maternity store while looking at clothes for my then pregnant sister-in-law. No one in the store knew how it got there or if it was even maternity (does BCBG make maternity clothes? lol). Knowing that I was TRYING to get pregnant, my family and the ladies at the store convinced me to try it on and place one of their fake pregnant bumps under it for what I like to call the, "Stretch Test". It was fabulous with and without a belly, made by one of my favorite stores and was majorly discounted. Done deal! So, similarly to the Altuzarra dress I wore on Valentine's Day, this was a very special moment for me to finally be pregnant and to be wearing this dress.

I did rock it last year at the Macy's Derby Festival Fashion Show, but to finally wear it pregnant and being open about our fertility struggle felt SO good! Some pre-pregnancy pics below- such a beautiful dress!

And this is when I realized it really isn't meant for maternity, and finding this dress on that day at that store was meant to be! haha One of my favs, Heather Dubrow, rocking it last season on RHOC. Love!

ROMPER REWIND

One of the many thoughts that run through my head when I am shopping is, "how versatile is this piece?". Something that can transition throughout the seasons is definitely going to earn some extra points in my book. And although not all of my purchases are chameleons, the majority are. Case in point, exhibit A:

This fab romper that I snagged at a BCBG outlet was one of my favorite looks that I rocked this past winter. And by simply removing my black tights and downplaying the accessories, this beauty enjoyed the summer sun with me yesterday for a dinner date with my work peeps. Love!

Stella & Dot jewels & clutch and Charlotte Russe platforms. These heels may be sky high but they are SO comfortable!

FASHION AT ITS FINEST

What better way to start off Sunday morning than with a Stella & Dot neck party! Two of my favorite gals to hang with, Fiona and Somervell. Beauts!

And another love of mine, the Sparkly Bardot Bangle. I'm a sucker for anything Rose Gold!

On a more exciting note, I attended the Kentucky Derby Festival Macy's Spring Fashion Show on Thursday and it was a blast! Pop-up shops, cocktails, food and fashion: what more could a girl ask for!? Any reason to ditch my usual weekday attire and get glammed up is great!

This little number is by BCBG and was a wonderful outlet mall steal. LOVE! At the core it is a modest dress, up to the neck and down to the knees. But the amazing pattern gives it just enough edge.

And what makes this steal even more amazing is this:

And this:

AnnaSophia Robb in the Season 2 Premiere of the
CW's, "The Carrie Diaries"

I am pretty certain they hiked up AnnaSophia's dress for the show because mine is much longer than that! It IS a Sex and the City spinoff, so I can't blame them!

Back to the show! Many different shops around the Louisville area were featured along with Dillards and Macys. And, of course, some Derby hats made an appearance! This event has got me SO excited for Oaks, Derby and all the festivities leading up to it all.

Food fare

And...... FASHION!

Any fashionista attending a fashion show has to arrive in style: By chauffeur (aka the hubs) and some back seat drinks. He's a good man ;) haha! My friend, Chelsea, and I had SO much fun!

Now back to reality, where the UofL Cards are out of the tournament. Ugh.. Bring on baseball season!!! St. Louis Cardinals is where it's at!
