Holy hotness freezing weather! Luckily, here in Louisville we are just battling the frigid temps. My family and friends in St. Louis are stuck under a foot and counting of snow! Not gonna lie, I do love a good snow storm but, unfortunately for myself and all other hospital staff, they obviously do not close. Soooo, no snow days would be happening for this girl.

Needless to explain, chili was on the agenda last night! I think everyone had chili last night!

Followed by some delicious hot chocolate. And no hot chocolate is complete without some marshmallows. The dark chocolate chips were a last minute addition that ended up being quit fabulous! My inspiration came from a friend in college who, freshman year, made my roommate and I hot chocolate. And to our surprise, she added one mini Hershey's bar to the bottom of each of our mugs. It was glorious!

I am still feeling sick (going on day six) so making myself breakfast this morning was a bit of a struggle. Alas, I made some eggs, toast with local honey and some coffee. Anyone else have this terrible cold? Headache, stuffy nose, sore throat, tired, watery eyes... you name it! Ugh!

Despite being sick, life goes on so and I had to run a few errands. I bundled up in my Michael Kors long black coat, scarf from Charlotte Russe (about 5 yrs old probably!) and this adorable head warmer.

I bought this head warmer while in St. Louis over Thanksgiving. We did some shopping in Kimswick, MO and my sister, Holly, sister-in-law, Mary, and myself each got one. I think one of us got a black one. SO cute! AND, you can wear it multiple ways. Wearing it with the bling off to the side is the safest bet, but we also experimented with putting the bling directly in the front and also all the way in the back. Love it!

Ok, time to go get a cough drop and take a nap. Yay...

xoxo MaryBeth
